Audiophile Death Match (Repost)

I'm reposting this video after YouTube suspended my account and deleted it. They said it violated their user agreement although I've never gotten a real explanation other than automated replies. Is YouTube now run by the gorts from Steve Hoffman's Music Forum? Let's see how long it stays up this time.

Thanks for all your comments. Sorry YouTube deleted them when they suspended my account. Last I saw this video had nearly 2,500 views(!).

I'm working on a follow up video with the results. Hopefully it'll be done soon.

i didnt notice the difference until you used your wife cables lol! really sound was less detailed....its not placebo, i tried 5 times, same result.

I find differences among short interconnects difficult to hear. Speaker cable show some audible differences due to their longer runs. Blind A--B tests are not good at revealing small sonic differences. They show up more effectively in the long term listening when the ear/brain better latches on to (learns) the sonic signatures of components and cables.

listening to your comparison test on tannoy reveal 501a monitors.

The mogami did seem to have an edge. the laundry hanger was less detailed but still fine. Our conclusion is that there is a difference in sound but not worth paying huge sums of money for.
