  • As for removing the radio, Go to and auto parts store and buy those U shaped radio removal tools, they'll be in the audio section. They'll probably be about 3-4 dollars. Just put it the in holes on radio, don't push them in all the way only slightly, and then pull the tools outword and the radio should slide out. It is a pain in the ass trying to get out, I broke a couple faceplates of Ford radios at the junkyard trying to get out.

  • yea we tried that it didnt work lol.... the clip on d drivers side is trashed NOT from me its just is that way... so watch the next one and I will tell you the project that i have taken up to go around it.

  • yep lol good solution except (in a former ford I had my dads explorer i fried wires in the stereo) and dad wants to get that radio out of my car as its tunage for his 93 explorer (the display is already broke lol ) it dont light up. but you can still see the numbers. I have found a fm transmitter with an internal MP3 player that has a remote and i use that the sound just sucks is all (not much bass) thanks for the advice

  • What I did was carefully stick a thinner flat head screw driver in the side and the take the nob off the volume or balancing controls and pull while you have the screw driver in the side

  • I had a car exactly like this one. Biggest piece of junk I ever owned.

  • use 4 small allen keys and a screw driver if you dont wanna spend money on the u tools thats how i got mine out

  • HI, when my dad had a homeade Cassette Tape stuck in the tape deck he used Pliers to yank and/or pull out the tape. Hope this tip will help!

  • ah okay. Yeah those Ford radios are a pain in the ass to get out. Good luck :D

  • Well if you're just gonna throw the Ford radio away, just break the faceplate off and then you'll be able to see the clips better on the radio and will probably be able to get it out by using 2 screw drivers or something.

  • so i just finished watching all of your videos and i found them rather interesting lol i like it though so keep it up man! I'm excited to see the next one!
