  • That's right killroy - Foehn winds are snow-eater winds. In north America, they're called chinook winds...decending air that dries and warms, and can attack a deep snowpack with amazing speed.

  • Do you mean the flies on the window, or the birds flying by? Very strange animals indeed.

  • Weird i see strange objects which move around at 0.27 on wards to 1.34 at the extream left.

  • These are Lee clouds. The Foehn you will not see as clouds but as "No CLOUDS". Its the drying of the falling air on the lee side of the mounain chain. Foehn will certainly not bring rain!!

  • there will be lots of rain after that mate...
