Did you know that around 1% of single parent households come from one parent dying. ONE percent. The divorced/unwed rate is around 80%. The rest of that was divorced people who remarried, I don't understand why they were included. Anyways, I think that when 80% of single parents come from divorce/unwed, my claim isn't too far off there. Especially when the unwed percentage is around 35%.

Gays choose to adopt a kid because they can't have a kid. They obviously realized that they are in the right place to have a family, so they go after an easy option. Let's look at your "options". One parent dies, probably doesn't happen that often. In the military, that's not really raising a kid alone. Just plain left the unsuspecting other parent, that's basically what I said to begin with.
