  • Thank you to whoever put this video back on YouTube. "A Little Prayer" is one of my favorite pieces, and this version with Fred Frith is the best one I have ever heard.

  • Beautiful piece of music, so sublime, fragile and tender...

  • where can i find a version WITHOUT the guitar piercing through the lovely chords?

  • Fred Frith, from Henry Cow? >:D

  • I am deeply touched by the prayer played by these two amazing musicians, and how Evelyn Glennie sublimely handles her deafness as a glorification of what is possible for the human being in its best performance

  • les falta oscuridad para mi gusto

  • Magnifiques instants! Merci !

She actually *can* hear, just at a very low level that makes the normal sounds most of us hear indecipherable to her. She wrote an essay about it on her website. Still an amazing woman, who overcame a significant obstacle.

  • This reminds me a lot of Cluster One by Pink Floyd. Breathtaking.

  • @sarahamelia25

    FYI Glennie herself is deaf.

Amazing isn't it? That someone who cannot hear can make such great music

  • whomever disliked this..... they must be fully deaf bcuz how can you NOT like this???? anyone? anyone?

  • Where can I buy this recording??
