@martmelee It's only personal prefs. what you like. But UI-way it IS better to have them to the left. Consider where the text mostly is and where the mouse is in a window. If you use scripts that is right-left orientated, like arabic or hewbrew(sp?) text, you want have it the old way.
As usually, you can always change them as you like. But I think they will use the window bar for status information in the future, so it will be better this way.

It is gconf-editor and NOT gconfig-editor like he says in the video.
That tripped me up for about 15 seconds while I googled it.

I use Ubuntu Tweak to move those window buttons on the right side. Great tweak video, though.

you can take lucid of the title and just put ubuntu and mint.. because.. this works with all distros based on debian.... that's only if you want to..
