while staring at my old skateboard, it pops into my mind to make my own longboard out of curiosity. With a little engineering skills like drafting and geometry, i managed to make this happen. this is my first attempt to make my own longboard, so as a person living in a free world. feel free to criticize, or share your thoughts, comments, opinions, and suggestion or you can private message me for anything you might want to say. and by the way barenakedladies its all been done is the actual soundtracks of this video but youtube keeps muting it so i used audioswap from youtube and the sounds is good even though its not my actual choice.

Board Specs:
Length = 40 inches
Width = 9 inches
Wheelbase = 29 inches
Nose/Tail = 2.5 inches
Thickness = 10 mm

what kinda wood do you use? Because i want to make a board to but I can't find any information about it.

@vikking95 you can use birch or maple ply, but if you want that has more flex, you can use bamboo ply but i think it's more expensive.

Hey I gotta ask bro, Why did you make the wood grain perpendicular to the board? It seems like you are sacrificing strength. Though, you might have gotten less camber if the wood was parallel.

@ShavedWatermelon Yeah i noticed that! as you can see this is my first time making a homemade longboard, kinda like an experiment. Even though the grain of wood is in the wrong way, but the camber makes it extra durable.
