Fernley Senior Center BBQ

Last Friday the Fernley Senior Center had a very special lunch.

Which was evident by the overloaded parking lot.

The draw, Gordon Hodapp owner of Gordon's Backyard BBQ that was on site serving up some delicious BBQ shredded pork.

Gordon helped serve and supplied all the food for the event which included 40 pounds of pork and made sure everyone had their fill.

The dining area was filled to capacity with everyone enjoying BBQ pork burgers, his famous meaty beans, salad and cookies.

Debby Stevens, Fernley Senior Center Manager thanked every one that helped out which included
Cook. Anne Tillman, Volunteers Bill Sheldon and David, Rosemarie DeAndrea, Carol Saint Thomas, Lavelle Castillo, Florence Millett, June Volunteer of the Month Elaine Fowler and all of the many volunteers that helped out.

After lunch, Debby presented Gordon with a signed, thank you certificate, in appreciation for this very special lunch.
