NZ Police Vehicles, Queen St, Auckland NZ, 25 May 09

New Zealand Police vehicles escort a protest march on Auckland's main street. The unusual markings on the last "unmarked" car is the Iwi Liaison Officer livery.
Thanks rawiri091 for clearing that up for me, I assumed it must be a Maori Warden vehicle because their vans also carry that logo...

I have decided to keep the protest march vids and police vehicle vids separate in a bid to reduce the number of abusive comments posted! :)

Hey guys, just to clarify, I am a Maori Warden and that is actually a Police vehilce. that is the sign of the Iwi Liason Officers, Policemen who worked with local iwi. I was wondering what you meant when you said maori warden vehicle. What we do have though are vans which you may see parked at various times outside downtown auckland police station. You will see the same branding on the back of the van as the one in this vid. Hope this helps. Kiwican you make awesome vids mate.

You think it purposely has 1 light, or one broken? it's like one of those low profile mufti police vehicles the ones the detectives drive, 2 lights in the grill and the rare lights are in the window, seen one of them yet man?

Not sure, it looks like the rear ones are removed altogether and either the blue grille one is burnt out or disabled for legal reasons. Yes re the mufti cars, there is at least one new VE SV6 with grille and taillight LEDS only, and none of the obvious window ones...

I've had a look at their website, but I'm not sure who funds what. They have a new Toyota van as well, which is often parked outside the Central Police Station.
