Right I play so many instruments but the best hands downs are bass and drums. The rythem and beat of a song. You can change anything in the treble, but if you change the bassline and feel of a song you change the song.

You try stuff on a lead that you try on a bass you'll pop a string...

Awesome. I understand exactly what you're saying. I do the same thing. I play at my church, and lots of time it's just me playing or something. It used to be just me and the drums and stuff like that. I think that kind of situation really helps you learn a lot. That's how I learned to play and I love showing people that bass is truly awesome. When needed I'll play the guitar or something, but I still prefer and love playing the bass. I hate when people think bass is so simple. God bless you bro.

Fag (or gay anything), I'm not. but I'm glad you figured it out on your own. btw: I love guitar more than you know, via, stevens, clapton, eddie, king, slash, etc. but as you can tell by my demonstration, you can't get that full variation of sound on a guitar without effects. prove me wrong.
