I loved my "White" MGB which I later had sprayed red. I really wanted and E Type but that was out of the question! Wire wheels and certainly no power steering, four forward gears and overdrive. It would barely do 100 mph but I thought it was fast at the time. Who was it that said they had aircon? I didn't think that was even an option then. Great days, gone forever, for me anyway.

Only a fucking kraut would wear a pisspot on his or her head whilst driving a MGB. Assholes probably have to due to restrictive Euro facist laws. The mandrins in Euronazi land will soon close down this avenue of pleasure to the Eurosheep. Pity that MG is about the only good thing to come out of the British Leyland eurotrash auto industry. They are truly brilliant roadsters and GTs. better than many US`attempts except the Mustangs.........and T-birds.....and Camaros.... you get the drift..

My Air Force roommate in Minot ND had a 68 MGB covertible with three carbureters, 3/4 race cam, and 30 over pistons. He drilled holes in the resonator and you could hear him shift gears 3 miles down the road... I wish I had bought it from him and he wishes he'd never sold it.
