@hiccuprocks101 ...who will go on to fall in love with some man 20 years later who dies, after which she will also remarry and adopt another kid. It's a family tradition :P

whoaaa, Josh is HAWT! not as smexy as Willie was, but pretty darn cute

Must all the first husbands die? They should start thinking of it as a curse...

@Burroschick REALLY!!!!! take the time... read the books. I loved the movies, but... I love the books MORE! Other than characters, and the even stray from that, they don't follow the books at ALL! There are more children of the Davis's to follow, as well as WONDERFUL plots!

@MsRevans1 Really? all the hubbies live except for Aaron, Marty's first? Even Willy?! lol he was my favorite. i really do want to read the books especially now, if thats true. cuz EVERY husband dying gets kinda old after a while lol

To be truthful... the movies do not follow the Oke books. If you are looking for a wonderful read... read the books! All husbands with the exception of the first husband of the Marty character lives... and Belinda is actually the daughter of Clark and Marty.

It is so hard to find a movie now that is truly a family, wholesome, Christian values movie! We should not be the least bit negative about them, or the producers will think they have to make them racier, and then we won't have anywhere to turn for family friendly movies! If you don't like these movies, watch something in the mainstream that is full of profanity, sex, nudity, and violence to your heart's content and leave your negative comments there, as well.

I know the husband always seams to die...but back then a cold could kill someone...I love the movies! I wish they did not change Belinda’s hair but besides that every movie is fantastic and the Josh guy is very good looking!:D
Let me guess....Lillian will fall in love with Josh and get married, he'll die, shell fall in love again and adopt a kid.

Janette Oke is one of the best Christian writers I've ever seen and I'm so glad she turned her books into movies! It's been quite enjoyable to be able to watch a movie with a "wholesome" and "family oriented" story line! TYVM Miss Janette! GBU!....Sincerely, Kathy in Virginia
