Engraved in Stone (Annie Mae) by Cathy Elliott

I've been reading about Annie Mae and Wounded Knee. it's been coming up lately partly because John Graham was extradited to South Dakota, and the trial dates are coming up fast. (It's April, 2010) It's a story that moved me to the core. Partly, as you'll see in the song, my Grandfather was from Indian Brook Band, and I'm from there too, even though I live so far away...but that's another story. Thanks to good people like Annie Mae, and others like her, people in Canada are kept to task about our government and church's treatment of First Nations. I hope to do my little bit. It's so small. But it means so much to me.

Thank you for bringing this to attention. When people get turned off by "conspiracy" they need to know that for every fact, there was first a theory. Putting the two words, conspiracy and theory together does not make the bad words, although it has been said they do create a "stop thought"

To conspire is where two or more act together towards some end as if by design.

It is a sad day to learn such things exist, sadder still to remain silent in fear of retribution.
