Ok, this song has been probably the most requested, for years... So, here it is... A lot of stuff going on in this one, with a lot of percussion. I use 6 different electronic setups to play the bells (from the Roland SPD-20) and I switch between them with my left foot during the song. I had trouble with the synchronization (and YT processing did something weird at the end) so it's not perfect. The performance is also not perfect but that will have to do for now! Enjoy!

  • Music.

    Gods gift to mankind.

  • @oldjizzy Indeed. Due to my scientific background, many ask me what is the best invention of mankind. It's always an easy answer: music.

  • What cowbells do you use and where did you get them? And also you're a great drummer. I've been studying Xanadu for about 6 months and I'm not even half way through it you did a great job. I'll be going to your channel for all Rush covers.

  • @scandct Those are 4 Tama cowbells I bought in 1990 or so, way back.... They still offer them I think but you might find other choices now (the tri-bell by Pearl for instance).

  • may i ask why you switched to traditional for a little bit during the song. just curious. and the cover was absolutely awesome

  • @metsfan7797 Because there are some trickier rudiment work on the snare drums at those places and I'm more comfortable with the traditional grip to play those.
