My Favorite Movie (Star Trek vs. Star Wars)

If you really think about it, you'll find that the 2009 Star trek movie plot is very similar to the Star Wars plot. Captain Kirk is just like Luke Skywalker, Spock like Han Solo. Remember: If you don't want to spoil the new Star Trek movie for yourself, don't watch Star Wars, oh... to late.

The new Star Trek was a good film, capturing the spirit of one of the more adventureous episodes of TOS. Excellent plotting, AND extensive special effects work.

However, they messed up Kirk, Spock and Uhura, and Romulans, (Granted, Nero was crazy) Vulcans were too emotional in general, while Scotty was kind of thrown in. Where did Starfleet's militaristic dicipline go?

Also, the comforts of technology. The original U.S.S. Enterprise was a WARSHIP comissioned as an EXPLORER. Not the opposite

@Jokerprodution Yeah but then again, George Lucas has claimed that Star Trek was an inspiration for Star Wars. But it is obvious that JJ Abrams wanted to inject a bit of the Force in to Trek. "May the Fourth be with you" all by the way.
