Saddles are made that do just that. BUT, these pre-cut holes in the body as well as the metal bridge plates are setup to accept the string up and onto the side of the NORMAL SADDLES. Alternative. I can always string the Tele from the bottom side of the bridge plate..There are 6 holes there to do just that. However, to bring them through the plate instead of the body I know Im going to loose TONE. Bunches of TONE. Provided by that ROSEWOOD Body. Darn it. SUGGESTIONS SUGGESTIONS SUGGESTIONS

Yep, ITS NOT THE BEST DESIGN that I can think of...As you can see the original Tele bridges have the strings come up through their bodies up from below the bridge's bottom and then up and over the SIDE SADDLE of the Tele's that are grooved for the strings. Problems as you can see are the strings ALL PULLING the saddles from Top to Bottom...Hard Strumming can make the mater worse. SO< what do you do? My first consideration is HOW TO GET The STRZINGs up and over 6 saddles. Not the sides the Center
