Let me get this out of the way: I sound NOTHING like Michelle Pfeiffer (alas I tried). This was for fun!

What Lies Beneath is one of my favorite scary movies - I'm a big fan of horror flicks that rely on light and atmosphere for scares, rather than slasher moves and gore. And the music in this movie is PHENOMENAL. I always thought this scene was both hilarious and creepy, and the dark-haired friend Jody steals the show every time she shows up in the movie. :)

I'm doing both voices here, btw - unfortunately I couldn't add in sound effects. Oh well! This was enjoyable :D
Except my screaming is a major FAAAIIILLLL (mostly because I didn't want my downstairs neighbor to complain...)

I have this film on DVD and i have watched it with the Director's commentary. When they were looking to cast the role of "Jody" they auditioned a lot of actresses but they all interpreted the role in the same way until Diana Scarwid who they said blew them away with her performance. Diana Scarwid is opposite Michelle Pfeiffer in the above clip and although she has a small role in the film she gives a memorable and stand out performance.
