This was Michael Caine`s second outing as Len Deighton`s working class spy Harry Palmer. Guy Doleman also makes a welcome return as Palmer`s tough boss. The film was directed by Guy Hamilton, a four time Bond director. The music score was written by Konrad Elfers.
The suite contains... Main title / Rendezvous at the Europa centre / The truce / The Berlin scene / End title / Theme from Funeral in Berlin performed by ( The Puppets)

You `re welcome. It took me ages to track this down, Thanks for the comment and the heads up on Fritz Lang`s Mabuse, I`ll track that one down right now.

  • Talk about synchronicity. I just tracked down the Youtube version of Fritz Lang's Mabuse, Der Spieler with the Elfers score (which I own on VHS), then found a forum that ID'ed Elfers as the composer for Funeral in Berlin. And here it is, just as remarkable, and only uploaded today? Man, I lead a charmed life. Thank you!
