Why did you leave if it was so great--and don't tell me it was because you couldnt take Arol's wisdom? The Zendiks are cold hearted liars. They have invented horrible lies (domestic abuse) to prevent another ex-zendik from seeing his daughter. They frequently shoplift from surrounding businesses. They manipulate the tax code by calling themselves a "school for underprivileged children." Hell-- they don't even educate their own children adequately.

@heynowskippy How can you bash something You know nothing about? have you ever read "A quest among the bewildered" have you ever bothered to go to their web site to find out what their truly about, I doubt it. I stayed at Zendik Farm near Bastrop for approx. 5 months many years ago. I did not find them to be a cult. Most of the people who showed up and left much much sooner than they thought they would were either A) taken off guard by how much work there was to be done, or B) unable to deal with the extremely blunt communication that they encountered, which often asked them to take a real hard look at things about themselves which they just didn't want to look at.

The thing is materials come and go, you have to except that. We as a culture to don't we want everything and we want it forever. You want to be rich, you want a big TV, you want it all and you want to keep it.

When you look at the big picture, in the end its all about if you were happy or not. The end goal in life is happiness. We don't need big TVs for this, you don't need a big house for this. You just need something that makes you happy.

They are not a cult guys! Just because they do something differently does not make them a cult. I've been visiting the farm long enough to know that they get a lot of little fuckers who think too highly of themselves and have no intention to help out but to slander their name and tell a bunch of lies about them. how do I know this? Well this year two alcoholic bastards decided to do a documentary and tell lies on video. They embarrassed them and harassed several people and their neighbors.
