Age of Empires 2 The Conquerors: Narrated Online Match Black Forest Good Players 3 Part 2

In this slightly older match of mine we have a 2v2 in Blackforest in which we see some familiar faces. In this match I am teaming up with my good friend pgg to take on two very skilled players. Enjoy some really great plays from each side as we see which team will pull through.

Plumbum seems like a crappy teammate. It wasn't until you killed, nearly, all of M4ck's villagers till he sent some people over.

@xDeadMisfitsx He's a very skilled player, but he prefers to "boom." This means he's slow to build up, but if you leave him alone too long he gets very powerful. He likes to build a massive economy first before a military, which in this case, wasn't a good idea. :)

@TheBadgerChannel That's not the reason at all why the majority of the metagame uses random civilizations. You must take into account the issues of choosing your own civilization. If there was a Persian player on the enemy team, would you safely decide to not pick Saracens to deal with that? If not you, someone else on your team would. And then the Persian would respond by swapping civs too. Then you'd swap to meet that civ. The cycle goes on. :)

@cn012891pat Relics actually aren't valuable in team games. At least, not very valuable. They are priceless in 1v1, but the two main ways to get gold are trade units and gold mines. Relics are valuable in turbo random map, as the gold generated by them substantially increases. Although in random map speed games, if you get 3-5 relics for yourself, it's helpful. Otherwise, mehh..... It never hurts to house one little relic though. That's one less relic for the enemy. GG, yes? :)

@ZaynePrinceton OH, yes I haven't watched the video in ages. Erm yes that's true, an issue of a lack of micromanagement on my part, definitely a mistake. I should have sent them around to go harass the other units he had. :)
