Robert was diagnosed with hydrocephalus at 19 weeks gestation. We were told he would have no quality of life if he even survived. We were told repeatedly to terminate the pregnancy. I prayed to God to take it in his hands and watch over my baby. Eight months and five brain surgeries later he is doing amazing!!! He can clap say mama, dada and baba. he is rolling and trying to lift his head while on his stomach. He has physical and occupational therapy and we are so greatful for all the help we have recieved to help my boy. Thanks for watching and i hope you enjoyed this video and it gives you hope in hard times.

  • thanks everyone!! I appreciate all the good thoughts. Robert is doing amazin!!! I will update with a new video soon so everyone can see how good he is doing. Robert is now 17 months old and has learned how to sit and can hold his head very well. He is still not crawling but with his Physical therapy we are sure he will be doing so soon. He also has a helmet to help with the shape with his head. Since his hydrocephalus had made his head swell and his multiple surgeries he had a few flat spots.

  • Just a quick question. Do kids with this condition grow into their head (not meant to be offensive sorry if it does)? Just a question..

  • @W0nd3rw0m4n im not offended. you have no idea how many people are curious about that. i would rather people ask questions politely than make assumptions rudely. We believe that he will grow into his head. although the top of his head will always seem larger than normal. We wont be 100% sure until that time comes but either way he will be handsome and loved by many!! :)

  • if anyone wants to know about hydro or has any questions feel free
