  • At 0:00 he was conducting firstly, but he was

  • @Tuber228756 They are actually written in the score...leaving them out is like leaving out the percussion section:it's just not right.

  • @sjtom57 Actually, every member of the orchestra is watching him, in their peripheral vision. It's hard to explain if you've never played in a band like that. But those movements he makes syncs up with the rhythms in your mind and everything works out. Also he cues tons of parts that you just don't know about. It's impossible to play songs like this without a conductor.

  • I love this type of music but watching the conductor always kills me. Not a single member of the orchestra is watching him; every eye is on their own music sheets.

  • @Tuber - The cannons are distracting? It's called the 1812 Overture...leaving out the cannons would be a disgrace!

Love this performance :) I listen to it over and over again!

  • Outstanding!

  • goosebumps at 5:22!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The canons always piss me off. So distracting.

  • If this guy makes love like he conducts, I wanna marry him.

  • @skatelady80 Since you're so jealous... you have no taste in music and you're black hearted, so stfu. Your face is sh*t. You're blocked.
