Justice Chumps vs. Renegade Cockroach

Here is a cartoon I made at age 15 in 1978. I later used these characters in my Ultra Klutz comic book series in the late 80's, so maybe a handful of old comics fans will get a kick out of seeing them animated in color. There are technical gaffs (wrong film type creating bright flashes, out of focus, etc.) which get fixed by the 3:00 mark. Shot in silent super-8, transferred to VHS in 1987 for the Onward Video compilation, digitized in 2009.

Thanks. No, I didn't come up with the Rustics until around '83 (after the first underground Ultra Klutz). You'll notice the stoner aliens towards the end are the same species as the two in the beginning.

Jeff, this was GREAT to finally see. I always wanted to get a copy of Onward video, but I was just a kid and never had the money.

In the early 80's I used to play around with super 8. What a pain, but that's all we really had, I did one attempt with cartoon animation, but it wasn't anything like this.
