Winged Migration

"Winged Migration," was choreographed by Michael Doran and performed in the ChaliceStream Studio by himself and three other dancers, ranging in age from their twenties to their sixties.
"ChaliceStream: A Habitat for the Arts," was founded in 1978 on eighty wooded acres located in northwest Wisconsin.

The following note on the dance "Winged Migration" appeared in the concert program:
"Year after year, for longer than man can remember, migratory fowl have arrived in spring and departed in fall. Man is planting the fields when they fly in and harvesting the fields when they fly out. When they come and when they go, man looks up from his labors to marvel and, perhaps, to envy their flight."
