@uraijit i know lol same with mine haha i screw around with network files all the time at my school and it pisses my teacher off lol our IT dept sucks haha i have more experience with computers than they do!

If that works for you, your IT guy needs to be replaced. Student's shouldn't have access to control panel or network settings. Your IT dept.=FAIL.
