You mean "thank goodness we're a totally different country than we were founded as", right? Because that's exactly what modern day "America" (whatever that means anymore) is. The founders and almost everyone up to the 1950s and 60s would agree on the issue of race that this was founded as and should remain a White Christian nation.

Sadly, you're correct. There is a lot of manipulation in regards to our government these days. Like the saying goes, "I love my country, it's the government I fear."

Founders would have took up arms when the (un)Patriot Act was signed into "law" and they would have made heads roll if they were here to see NDAA get passed into "law" ... The current govt, as well as the last few at least back to Ike and JFK, did not and do not represent the people like they would have you believe, they represent the corporations and lobbyists who fork over the campaign donations. Hell I might as well speak my mind while I still can because the road we're on is pretty bleak.
