    I was pokey as a kid, always the last one ready, so my Dad used to sing this to me. Thanks for posting it - Dad's been gone ten years, but the song brings back some really lovely memories.

    Pee Wee and Redd made dozens of appearances on my television show on WAVE-TV. Sometimes Pee Wee sang Slowpoike" and Tennessee Waltz" just for the fun of it. I loved them both. I miss them.
