  • Its funny that you compare european colonialism to the Tibet China issue. The Chinese keep claiming that you freed Tibet from colonial powers when it is even clear to you that just like european colonization of australia China did colonize Tibet. the difference is that China has the opportunity to turn back the clock, remove yourselves and you will have avoided committing the irreversible crimes that Australia and Canada have committed, acknowledged and apologized for.

  • hahahahahahahahahaha....im sorry....that is the funniest thing I have every heard. As someone who has spent thier whole life trying to help people who have been tortured and imprisoned for voicing their opinions about problems in TIbet your comment is ignorant and heartless. Get educated.

  • You don't see an Indian national or Italian or Mexican, unhappy with anything in his or her own country go seek assistance from another country to attack his own country. Its like asking your neighbour to attack your parents just because you don't fully agree with them. That's the problem with you Zang ethnic minority (Tibetan) of Xizang, China. Whatever grievances you have with your motherland, China, the doors to peaceful discussions has always been open to your leaders.

  • 西藏自由。

    台湾万岁。

    中国需要一个多党政治制度。

  • The Tibetans don't think you freed them.

At least most white Australians acknowledge that the aboriginal people were dispossessed by the white invasion. Most Chinese are in complete denial about the invasion of Tibet and the brutality of the ongoing occupation.

  • The Tibetan government in exile is an elected democracy. A free Tibet would also be an elected democracy. China is a totalitarian dictatorship. The dark days for Tibet have mostly been since China invaded in 1959.

  • I bet the cowboy in Whitehouse and the monkey used to live in No 10 Downing Street need more education.

Let's wait and see what the world will do in 2012!Oh,is this the reason that 2012 torch relay is going on only in Britain?

  • OK,we will let Tibet go if you Aussie go back to Europe and free the aboriginal first!

BTW,in 1959 we already freed Tibet once and I don't think it is necessary to do it again.

  • chinese people LOVE TIBET, but not TIBETANS.

chinese people are coming to TIBET and killing the TIBETANS, that is why the TIBETANS do not like it.ok.

  • If Tibet is to be cut off from China, what will happen to the majority of Tibetans? If Tibet is to become autonomous, that means Dalai Lama would become the Leader of Tibet and so will the head Lamas and rich landlords who supported him all the way. There is no way to ensure that Tibetans wouldn't return to the dark and evil days again under his slavery regime. Promises can be made by Dalai Lama, but how can you ensure those are not merely empty promises?
