you stupid dumbass! you don't believe it? do a search on google and look at the pictures!
and if those pictures are not disturbing, well remember that is just 50 years of collected garbage, probably most from the past 20 years, so now multiply that by 100 years, or 500 years. our ancestors survived on earth for 10.000 years before because everything they ate, wore used was biodegradable ! if we don't clean up now and change, we will not be able to sustain life here anymore.

@whatifitwasyou That's not the solution, the solution is education and global action. Just as humans have a great capacity for destruction, we have a great ability to change the world for the better. Y'all just gotta believe

I throw shit in the ocean all the time and am thankful for the current that carries it safely away and deposits it in such a convenient place. We are lucky not to have to actually ship it out there and dump it ourselves. What an amazing planet we live on!

@DCRThinnes Hahahahaha you're probably right. Name calling isn't very constructive either, FYI.
Humans are the cancer of the Earth.
No more babies please.

@jul4099 I'm sorry, but picking up after ourselves is not enough. We need manufacturers to stop making more plastic and use only recycled. When you buy things made of plastic, you must recycle. Try not to buy things in plastic in the first place.
