If you don't plan on overclocking the system, 2GB of PC2-5400 (667Mhz) or PC2-6400 (800Mhz which is the speed at which stock RAM came in) is good enough for this computer (of any brand).
If you do plan on overclocking the processor (which people claim have gotten up to 2.1Ghz), then people say should buy it from OCZ and with a higher rating such as PC2-6400 or even PC2-8600.

a little question, did you removed the plastic cover later where you connect the battery (from 3:49). Got the 1005HA too, but dont know i should remove the plastic cover from the battery connect or not.

The plastic that was blocking my insertion was actually the screen plastic cover, and yes, I removed that.

cool video!
im thinking about getting one of these.. probably the newer one with 250GB hdd and will put 2GB RAM in it.
I will mainly want to use this when i'm out and about.
I wanna be able to watch videos for hours if i'm on a train or aeroplane. Am I looking at the right machine for the job? i know battery life is better than laptops but is it gonna be fast enough to let me watch live streaming or at least downloaded tv shows? How long does the battery last if you watch videos for hours?

Based on my own tests, the unit seems to be able to handle streamign videos of Hulu and YouTube as long as it's not HD/HQ.
According to Cnet, the unit can play videos for 6 hours and 51 minutes before dying, but keep in mind that probably means a video file on the HDD instead of streaming.
If you do want to watch HD content, you may want to consider the Lenovo S12 which featuers the nVidia ION platform which can handle 1080p output and GPU-accelerated flash. It has lower battery life though.
