Let's Play World of Warcraft - Part 76 - Stonecold Stonetalon

Part 76 of my 'Let's Play' gameplay and commentary in the MMO, World of Warcraft, by Blizzard Entertainment.

In this episode we begin with a fun quest where we need to take down Warsong Wind Riders above the Stonetalon Mountains by using Gnombus Sniper Canons. We then make our way further into the zone, taking on another interesting quest where we have to slay Krom'gar Incinerator's by targeting the Oil Canister's on their back, before heading to the Windshear Mine..

Quite a cool flamethrower particle effect, I must say. Also, it's nice how the area looks SO different than the previous one, it makes me really look forward other areas :)

@TomKQT yah the various zones in the game are really mixed, especially post-Cataclysm. Blizz really know how to craft an interesting and varied world in my opinion =)

I am not a mmo fan so what are the good points in W.O.W. I have wacthed a few gameplay videos of it and the game looks ok but the combat seems really slow but I'm not sure as I am an mmo noob

@Tmac10t i'd say that the majority of all MMO combat would appear 'slow' compared to action / console games, but the point of it is more tactical i guess. for my money, i love MMO's due to the sheer amount of content on offer, and the sense of progression and achievement i get from leveling a character through the game. plus it's just nice to escape to a virtual world every now and then =)

@sambonz my coworkers looked at me like i was crazy when you started blasting random wind riders out of the sky after finishing the quest. As i started laughing. Great episode and you really do find some great vantage points.
