Im trying to find the alternate ending scene

When I lived in LA and had friends in the industry w/access to many archives I tried to find the alternative ending, no luck. I don't doubt that it exists, too many people claim to have seen the same/similar scene on the network TV version, one even on an airplane in-flight movie. Studios must have it squirreled away into the super secret vaults though. If still in existence I am sure it will be on a special Blu-Ray one day. 25th Anniversary this year... Maybe a special edition will come out.

Best movie ever! Can't believe this was 25 years ago! That little boy who played Joshua in young version is now 39 years old!! God I wish I was born around 1970-1980, must have been the best time ever ;O;

I Love it too!did you know there was a theatrical alternate ending,Josh and Billy are in class the next day talking and the teacher introduces the new girl?she had red hair and pigtails :) I wish I could of seen it!at least Josh originally got a happier ending
