  • wow chris, this would atleast get a credit at GFS somewhere

  • @pubesaurus it probably would had I made it there :P

  • at 2:20 the quick text shot doesn't make much sense. And neither does the random girl with her arms spread... also can anyone tell me how rubbish is paluting the earth?

  • Hi,

The text that appears quickly isn't meant to be read. I you were meant to read it I would have made it last longer then 3 frames. The girl is playing a shinigami/death god. It's a symbolic metaphor, explained in the text that appears for longer then 3 frames.

As for the last part... have you seen rubbish dumps recently.... or ever?

  • you spelt polluting wrong for my last part lol and the girl is fucked up either way and dont think its necessary would have been just as good a message without her

  • .... that was hard to read.... anyway....

How is she fucked up? The problem being, and this is from a film standpoint, that the film would not be conherent in a textual sense. The shinigami is the conflict in the story line, rather, it sets up the risk or the possibilty of loss. I could of put in images of decaying animals that have sufficated from pastics but I have a little more tact then that and opted for a symbolic metaphor instead...

  • great movie. very powerful message!

  • @ravenwitch1 Agreed!

  • @paultheuglydog I'm sorry to say, but you'll NEVER get out of dept. Our money system is one great lie, I suggest watching *The Arrivals/The American Dream*(last one in my favs) and I'm not just saying that to be a dick but what are we taught from day one? That our whole "goal" in life is to get a good enough job just to SURVIVE and after we wasted most of our life doing that we just fork all our money back to the system. Is this truly what "life" has to offer? F*** no, but ppl arent seeing it :/

  • @BurnsideStudios08 Exactly, and thats the most dangerous part, see the bastardly government/media get ppl, mainly around my age(x'[) hooked on buying and buying AND BUYING to the point wher its practically worship lol.

And not only that but what is the future gonna be like when they grow up? The perfect slave system, keeps ppl feeding the system and distracted to the obviously deliberate lies and b.s the media spoonfeed us.

  • @DragonAurora id love to!

  • fantastic!

  • GREAT VIDEO!!! i like the shinigami, its so powerfull the message, DOWN WITH CAPITALISM and its stupidity!!!

  • I am very wasteful. Every day I use throw away plates cups and silverware. Every couple of months I throw away my tv raido computer and cellphone and buy new ones. Every year I throw away all of the clothes in my closet and buy new ones. I just dont worry about consumerism. I have more important things to worry about then the environment like how am I going to get a high paying job to get myself out of dept.

  • I wrote a paper on this subject; if anyone is interested in reading it, send me a message.

  • Cool 12th grade effort! We're also making fun of consumerism with our "still using" channel. Pretending that using outdated technology is like drug use that needs to be cured. Because that's the message we get from ads and media. Gotta have the latest iPad, iPhone, etc. We're hoping that other youtubers will come and share their usage of "outdated" technology...
