Homosexuals have the same rights as everyone else. Christians don't have extreme homophobia. We desire for everyone to find the forgiveness of sins we have found, and we wish to spend eternity in heaven with them.

You must abide by it perfectly because you're not born again. I am born again, and I have been set free from the law. If gaining God's favor is dependent on abiding by the law, it would be impossible.
What does separation of church and state have to do with anything? You are free from religion, but that doesn't mean you're free from your Creator. You will give an account for every idle word on Judgment Day (Matt 12:36).

the APA (American psychological association) has declared Extreme homophobia a form of mental illness after removing homosexuality from its list of ailments.
I would say that trying to enforce a discriminatory legal system where by one group of people are segregated and unfairly taxed and denied basic civil rights, would be pretty extreme

Im not twisting " gods words" one bit. its in the bible which was anyway written by man but I will inform you that in USA we do have sepperation of Church and State. so, while your religeon may dictate this OR that, other people are free from IT period.

You are biblically illiterate. Those who are born again, have been set free from the law (Colossians 2).
However, you must keep the law perfectly to get into heaven. Have you ever lied, stolen or looked at someone with lust? If you have then you're a lying thieving, adulterer. I know you're guilty of twisting God's word. You're guilty of breaking God's law, and you must be punished in hell.

Lest anyone miss the point here: We're not "licensing it as if it were ok." It is okay. We believe that God's love is reflected in all love. Being gay is not a sin. Being judgmental or hypocritical is.
