Leuk filmpje over de kaasmarkt en het marktplein van Gouda, met het stadhuis, de waag, hotel De Zalm (voorheen het oudste hotel van Nederland), de sigarenwinkel van Van Vreumingen (de oudste sigarenwinkel van Nederland) en de Sint Janskerk (de langste kerk van Nederland met een lengte van 123 meter). Een gezellig muziekje. Gouda is een sfeervol stadje.

It's a bit like a magnet. Celebrated my father's 92nd birthday, yesterday. Played Dutch songs for him, on my accordion and thoughts have turned to Gouda again, where he, my mother and I were all born.
It's all still SO familiar! If only it wasn't 24++ hours' flying from Sydney!!
Even op een terrasje zitten. (in 1997 en 2005 gedaan) zou best leuk zijn!!

Yes you're right they use there hands if there is a new price for the cheese.
they negotiate about the price, it's only used by cheese and cattle markets.
