"I do believe we do evolve as human beings." haha wtf. but his idiocy brings up a good question: are we human beings or human becomings?

  • poster, what's a two word phrase that means the same thing as 'without lack of certainty'

  • @papermermaid We know you're fighting an ideology. That much is obvious. You're bankrupting your country by trying to convince people not to hate you by invading their countries and killing their civilians. Sure, it'll work, just give it time.

It's the deception that bothers the rest of the world. Invading Iraq when it was Saudis living in Afghanistan and Pakistan who took down the towers was a bit of a stretch. Why Iraq? Was it revenge? Continued safety of Kuwait?

  • @ChipArgyle

Of course they had WMDs. No one disputes that. There are even congressional reports speaking about the WMDs that were found. But any logical person will acknowledge that Saddam had direct ties to terrorist organizations, and that weapons created could be sold to them. Not to mention the bank system of Iraq opening supporting the currency of terrorist organization. No you obviously have no idea of what we are fighting. it isn't just people(s) - it is an ideology.

  • @papermermaid Oh absolutely. Chemical weapons possessed by the Iraqis. Just like we were told. You know, the ones that turned out not to exist.

  • @ChipArgyle

Do you understand the enemy of which we are fighting? By your condescending question, I think not.

  • @papermermaid You know that Iraq and Afghanistan are different countries, right?

  • @ChipArgyle

As long as they give enough reasons to, yes.

  • @papermermaid Might as well just go ahead and attack everyone as a preventative measure then. That makes sense.

  • @ChipArgyle

Please re-read what I wrote. If it protects Americans from danger than I think it is worth it. I have the same feeling about pre-a-bomb Japan and pre-revolutionary war England. The only difference is now we are dealing with a religious fanatic group that hides behind the political boundaries of their host countries and the civilized nation's slow response to war. Thank you.

  • @papermermaid You justified the invasion of Iraq with the invasion of Afghanistan. Afghanistan was justified because that's where the terrorists were and still are. We still don't know the real reason why Iraq was invaded. We DO know why, but not officially. We're pretty sure that 800,000 dead Iraqi civilians weren't worth it though.
