These are actually RTW's, Leyland variations of the (AEC) RT. They were six inches wider that the standard RT, at 8 feet wide. They lasted in London from 1949 until the late 1960's. 279 of the 500 ever built were sold to Ceylon Transport Board. I don't know when they were photographed here, but they still sound quite fit...and very Leyland!
