Well actually, since in the anime and the manga the three lights are portrayed as girls. In the anime since they are boys, I'm guessing they get all the hormones and feelings that boys have. In the manga they are just acting their parts very well.

Actually no they're not. The author Naoko Takeuchi only made Uranus & Neptune (and the Sailor Stars, I do beileve... It could be just be Seiya.. I'm not sure if they all were.) lesbians. Sailor Moon marries Tuxedo Mask in the Japanese version, and the other scouts were all involved with the 4 generals of the dark moon before they turned evil.
