Somehow I missed this one. Great video...thank you. This is something I hope more people would get behind it.

@22reTOYOTA bottles may change labels but the poison inside always stays poison

& is still causing problems for our troops who were exposed to it 40 years ago. In addition it has been undeniably linked to a number of cancers in dogs and other pets. This is because our four legged friends run around in their yard “bare-foot” and absorb it directly through their paws. But make no mistake, we absorb plenty of it, too, especially kids who romp and roll around in the grass where it is regularly applied. MSMA is still in many herbicides that are freq applied to athletic fields

@22reTOYOTA Crop duster story is a warning about our poisoned food supply. I'd rather spend money on natural, less toxic / polluting products. No drama here. Also found this: The weed killer in most Weed & Feeds is atrazine, has now been linked to yet another horrible birth defect. (You don’t see that on the bag, do you?) The common broadleaf weed-killers usually contain 2,4-d. This was a major component of the “Agent Orange” of Viet Nam infamy ...continued...

@OrganicTexas Im not out to "poison" the earth. Being sprayed by a crop duster does not happen everyday. That sounds like more of an accident to me. All Im getting at is as of today since major bans took place from 1987-1996. Pesticides used today (PROPERLY is the key word) are less lethal than whats under 99% of Americas sinks. I say the word "drama", Because its easy to sell a bill of goods to people with it. I choose to find out my own facts. But we will all be dead on 12/21/12 anyways!! HAHA

@22reTOYOTA I realize pesticide runoffs have contributed to multiple dead zones around the world & yes, RXs are in the water tables. And there's a dozen more examples how we have failed to be good stewards of the Earth. My friend Bruce's twin brother was sprayed in a field by a crop duster & immediately went into seizures. Label us chemiphobes, but I'd rather error on the side of caution. And darn those people trying to save their single greatest investment! Please, it's very understandable.
-
@OrganicTexas Do you know how the label system works on pesticides and other chemicals? Do you realize there are more presciption medication found in the water over pesticide run-off? I grow "organic" peppers. And do quite well. But I also spent from 1992-2007 in the pest control industry in DFW. Ive seen a dramastic change in EPA regulations since 1995. But the chemiphobes are never happy. That is until you save their home from termites. I will never understand it.

@22reTOYOTA There is no bleach sitting above my washer. I don't find Sprawl-Mart evil because they're capitalist, its their business practices & how they treat their work-force I take issue with. That caution label reads pretty long on those toxins and has serious consequences for humans & the environment alike.
-
@OrganicTexas Well, I doubt you can go into an evil capitalist Wal-Mart and find chorinated hydrocarbon or organophosphate pesticides. Hell, I cant go into a pest control supplier like B&G or Estes and find them. You can find pyrethroids,IGRs, and possibly the best termiticide ever made, Termidor. All carry a CAUTION label. All have a higher LD50 than the bleach sitting above your washer.
Whats funny is the fact that the picture of the pesticide bottles and there contents have not beeen used in decades. But "Drama" sells.

@22reTOYOTA No – not drama at all. Bottles like these are being found and having to be dealt with on a regular basis.
