I agree that Slavik is the most technically sound dancer forgiving that he tends to dance above the ground, but the partner connection is not up to par. Just want to add Yulia's technique is well simply amazing.

The more they danced together the better Anna got and the more Slavik's biggest problem (body movement) was highlighted. I wish he could've renewd his dancing. They could've really been at the top.

Eh? Slavik has the worst body action of the finalists (barring Michael) because it constantly stops dead! It already happened with Hanna, but was highlighted when he danced with Anna because her body movement flows.

@HM8290 I agree with you. But I also think that Slavik is the most technically advanced dancer with superb basics, phenomenal feetwork and body actions. IMHO the 2nd is Franco and Riccardo is the 3rd. And I start to think that Anna is becoming a better suited partner to Slavik than it was Karina. I truly hope in the following year we will witness S&A reveal their full potential. Even now they look great but I just would like them to further develop their routines, especially samba and cha cha.

@no1karenite AWESOME. I get so passionate about this topic, I didn't mean to sound rude or anything. Eventually they will get to that point where Anna balances out with Slavik's radiance. a man like that, he has his personality and his ways/special ideas of dancing what i notice in his choreos is not so much technical things but landscapes of colors, feelings pictures.I have faith in Anna and know she is capable to go up, and I'm sure Slavik is helping her out a lot, I can see it.

@HM8290 You make it sound as if I don't like Slavik and Anna! My comment about other Rumbas with the posing was not directed to them. I do believe that Slavik & Anna will become more balanced in time -- in fact, they already are getting there, I can't wait for the time that I can watch them and truly appreciate Anna for the amazing dancer that she is!

Anna is in fact embellished and beautified by Slavik. and its a year partnership you can't ask so much out of them from being just a year together, with time they will get completely even in terms of "attention"
