Hey dude this really helped out... Just a question though how do i switch off the PFL lights... Coz when i use the crossfader and move it to the other side i can steal hear the other tune. and when i switch turn tables it sounds shit

Hi, nice vid good explanations and going tunes. Couple things that I would like to advice, atleast one is that don't have both tunes playing at same time with full base. That will make unwanted baseboost in to the switch. Eighter use the low eq to switch base or the channel faders. It will make it better sounding.

Depends on what you are going to be using your PC for really mate. I have a standard card but have been wanting to upgrade for a while. If you are just DJ-ing at home then really a standard card should be ok. If you are producing, looking for better sound quality or using your PC in pubs/clubs etc i would reccomend a better soundcard. I would, however, upgrade my speakers and amp before a soundcard though. Hope this helps.

Also I can suggest that you get midi controller for your VDJ and use that, forget the syncs, forget the bpm shown on the screen and learn to get those just using the controller, it will be more challenging, more fun. Afterwards you could jump into real CDs or vinyls with not much problem. Practise and N Joy man ;)

Yup, thanks for the comments mate, I do have CDJs which i often use also and i learned using vinyl. As for the bass, I do usually use the EQ's alot more (don't think i used them at all in that vid) but i was just keeping things simple there.
Being a student my funds are highly limited and so i can't afford a midi controler just now, but believe me, i have looked into it!
Thanks again mate.
