People tend to forget that Christians aren't perfect, we mess-up and we make mistakes. That's why we have such a forgiving God. What he did was wrong but not unforgivable. And his song is still inspirational. He talks of a healing, we all need healing from something (physical, emotional, mentally.) This song has blessed many people going through things. He didn't have to come clean about his lie but he did and apologized and asked for forgiveness are we so perfect that we can't grant that?

@RUnerdy Who are we to judge him? Everyone lies and make sin. No one is perfect only Jesus, thats why he died for us on that cross for our sin. yes he lied, but who among us hasn't yes maybe its was rather a big one but a lie is a lie. i was introduced to this song by soul survivor uk mike pilavachi told the story about this man and i had tears in my eyes, a couple of months later i found out that it was all a lie, my response was i lord forgive this man for has sinned. we all have sinned ive lied, i have actually done some terrible things but in reality god is the one who decides not us, so i suggest you keep your thoughts to yourselfs

I came to post this on Facebook, but then I read all the comments while the video was uploading, and I gotta say... I don't understand; why would someone (even a long-time Christian) lie about having cancer for two years? Great song, though.

I just found out this evening that a wonderful friend of mine has a brain tumour. The doctors discovered it this weekend. When she told me, she started to cry. I want to be strong but right now I feel angry and cant sit still. Life is so unfair. Lord Jesus, heal her.

MrILYJesus what the heck is wrong with you, is this what you strive for? Just pick a fight against anyone..you sound like satan himself. NO you idiot its not ok to lie, and thats my point, but obviously your too stupid to not notice it, its a sin, and its not okay, we all sin, and no sin is greater than the next. But we cant ACT like we dont sin and just point the finger at him. We have to forgive if we want to be forgiven. Maybe you can understand that, maybe not, idk, you sound pretty slow

@MrILYJesus just saying that sin was the unforgivable one. any other sin can be forgiven but you should repent before its too late. all sin are the same to God whether you steal something or killed anyone..for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, ROMANS 3:23
