Yeah Melvin aka Ving Rhames played this role very well. Its like I know this was suppose to be a drama movie but there where so many funny scenes in this movie!!

And when they lose their luster and attractiveness they become bitter and wonder why they can't find a decent man or get the decent men that they dissed in high school, college, and throughout their 20s don't want them.

@MisterB2eternity I agree with you.I wouldn't say it's all black women, but I believe the majority of them(especially during their peak years of physical attractiveness 16-25) prefer the Jody type.Like i said, they carry around a anger that women mistake as the ultimate expression of masculinity.They figure all that "burning fire" of anger & aggressiveness will translate over into the sexual spectrum.He's the guy who has been marketed to them as the cool, hip, mandigo sex god
