@theSinghFIRE BRL definitely gets rotation on my iPod. And you're right, things were switching up around this time and styles were changing. It was how I felt at the time though. I was spoiled and didn't really care to much for the change in styles and group chemistry. I didn't understand that concept at the time. Being involved in music and being older, now I do.

@shuaduah but saying that, the chemistry could never have been the same, the group was starting to fall apart before Dilla started to produce for them. Also, it was 1996 and Hip-Hop changed dramatically, i bet regardless of what was going on- they had to change their sound up.

And I was just picking up on this Jay Dee character. i thought his beats were dope, but man, don't mess with Tribe chemistry. All the while I found myself still bopping my head REAL hard. Now I can't get enough of the man's work. Never predicted saying RIP though.
