Frog Attack

A Hammerkop has itself a good meal but not being equipped with a bill for tearing or biting it starts the long process of pulverising the platana. The frog gets beaten and bashed on the ground, dipped in water as if to give it that last bit of extra life and then beaten to a pulp again. Only once the platana is supposedly dead and all its limbs dislocated is it dipped in water for the last time and swallowed whole, much like swallowing an oyster.
