@bacalee you should check out a company in Kingston that cleans wells using only high pressure water and a pump that can pump sand and grit.....no chemicals are used.

I have a well that is close to 200 feet and it has sediment that I would like to clean out. My water level is close to 125 feet. How does the dry ice concept work? My well casing is 6" at this depth. What do I have to do to clean my well casing given my spec that I provide you?
