Black Ops Valkyrie glitch?

I spent nearly half the round shooting the missiles trying to see why it kept blowing up in my face. Normally this would be a user mistake, but I spawned with new rockets every time, something that doesn't normally happen. It even counted toward a Valkyrie Rocket challenge which really shouldn't happen. Any explanations?
