Not only are you missing the whole concept of Wikipedia, you are missing the whole point of the Internet in general. Anyone creating Wikipedia articles about themselves or things they represent, is only inviting unnecessary public embarrassment upon themselves. A mindset to rob the Internet of its innocence is the reason we have things like spam, pop-up windows, malware, and computer viruses. It's why the quality of the Internet has been in such decline since the early 90s.

@RavenMHart it was a warning that indeed if the content of your wikipedia page is exclusively marketing based that it may indeed get banned.

If you edit "your" article on Wikipedia, you may face intense debate and criticism, even harassment, even if you studiously follow Wikipedia rules.
Generally:
- Search Wikipedia for WP:COI and read it, and also:
- Involve other Wikipedians.
- Edit in a sandbox, not on the live site.
- Discuss on talk pages.
- Ask other Wikipedians to push your sandbox live.
- Cite insanely; say nothing you can't support with a neutral-source citation.
- Be upfront about who you are.

can i upload a video "website" like in yahoo? of course yes..

Great tip, David. Most people have no idea they can create their own Wikipedia page. They think the pages magically "appear", written by invisible people in high places - like the old encyclopedias used to be.
