Eastern Turkey Bow Hunt

This is a video filmed by a good friend of mine. He was in a blind and did all of the filming himself while he was hunting. Not a lot of pans and zooms but he did a pretty good job. Also made a great (2nd) shot. Hope you enjoy.

You should try dogs and cats next. You might not have to bait them quite as much to get close enough to shoot them.

Pretty lame and completely unimpressive. Put some time in out in the woods, and figure out where the birds are frequenting naturally and you will have a more rewarding...and legal...hunt.

And you should try reading. Or at least do your homework. I can appreciate your feelings on baiting. I agree with you and feel the same way. However if you took the time to read my description, this is a friend's video that I edited. Not mine. I wasn;'t even there. I have never hunted over bait.

Regarding being legal, don't spout off until you know what you're talking about. It is legal in Kansas to hunt over bait.

It was a legal kill, whether you and I agree with baiting or not.

What state is it legal to hunt turkey over bait for easterns? I can only think of Texas, but thats for rio grande, this could be used as evidence against you in court if its not legal I have a feeling it isnt legal.

Kansas. It is legal. My friend's hunt, not mine. I wouldn't hunt over bait or stalk turkeys. I also do not try to chase after gobbles and ruin other people's hunts. But each person has their own feelings about these issues. As long as they are legal I am not going to judge.

Great hunt and for all you guys agenst hunting over bati there is no suck thing as not hunting over bait,decoys are bait, fod is bait,calls are bait and so on so great hunt and keep it up

Your a cocky little prick aren't you? If you don't like it then do your own thing don't knock people for hunting their way. Hunting is outsmarting your prey its not equal hand to hand combat.
