Another hop up video using specially marked black and green bb's to show the backspin of airsoft guns. I got a request a while ago about showing what the spinning bb's look like when they hit an object so hopefully I was able to illustrate that starting around the middle of the video. This was filmed at 600 frames per second. The airsoft gun is a tired AK47 running on 13 volts instead of 9.6 volts. FPS is around 300, probably less.- but operating at 13 volts provided a higher ROF.

  • What does the hop-up do?

  • @XoJACKxATTACKoX It puts a backspin on the bb so it both stabilizes the bb in flight, but also creates LIFT, so the bb can go further.

  • dude where did you get those bb's they are bad ass

  • @nicros96 I painted them. I used a plastic tray-bullet divider from a pack of .22lr bullets and put about 50 bb's in at a time and painted them very lightly with flat black paint.

  • @XoJACKxATTACKoX Think of it as baseball, for a good throw you put backspin on it to gain extra speed and distance as well as stabilizes it during flight, Which was already said but i related it to something else lol
